About Shareena

I'm originally from Salt Lake City, but have called colorful Colorado home since 1998. I have 3 kids, I love to travel and I'm a novice knitter.

I left my corporate job to enroll in beauty school back in 2003. Doing hair was always in the back of my mind, but I was scared to make the leap. 

​

I love talking with and getting to know people. Even as a child in school I was always in trouble for talking to my neighbors. So, becoming a hairstylist was a perfect fit. I get to give clients beautiful hair while getting to know them.  I love sharing life stories with my clients. It's truly the best job in the world!

Ten years later I became the owner of Mode Salon. I love owning the salon and mentoring the next generation of stylists.

I love working with my clients to create beautiful custom colors and cuts that work for them and their lifestyle.  I enjoy working with all textures and can take on fine like my own or curly, which is my dream hair.
